Four postdoctoral researcher posts at the University of Hertfordshire (Comunicado por Sylvio Ferraz Mello em 01/07/2010) Four postdoctoral researcher posts are available at the University of Hertfordshire's "Centre for Astrophysics Research" (closing date 6th August 2010). A wide range of research goes on at the centre, and these posts can be in any research area in which the centre actively participates. The institute's Low-mass Group is a large team within the centre, working on extrasolar planets, brown dwarfs, and low-mass stars. We have major involvement in a variety of large surveys, and lead a European network (RoPACS) searching for rocky planets around cool stars. We would like to encourage applicants who wish to become a fellow in the Low-mass Group and work with us in these areas. For more information please see the following links: Summary links to ongoing low-mass projects are available here: http://star.herts.ac.uk/progs/galactic.html The RoPACS homepage is here: http://star.herts.ac.uk/RoPACS/ If you have any further questions feel free to contact me (David Pinfield; D.J.Pinfield@herts.ac.uk), or more generally the head of the centre Jim Hough (J.H.Hough@herts.ac.uk).
