1. BOLSAS MARIE-CURIE - PF7 - PEOPLE

As bolsas Marie Curie individuais são destinadas aos pos-docs e 
pesquisadores permanentes. Com duração entre 12 e 24 meses, elas permitem 
efetuar uma mobilidade dentro da Europa, para fora da Europa (para 
pesquisadores europeus) ou para dentro da Europa (para pesquisadores 
estrangeiros).

Os valores da bolsa estão entre 2500 e 4000 euros (net) por mês. O 
laboratório que acolhe o pesquisador recebe entre 500 e 800 euros por mês.

Aproximadamente 600 pesquisadores são contemplados a cada ano, sendo que a 
taxa de sucesso das submissões se encontra entre 25% e 30%.

Todos os domínios de pesquisa são elegíveis (não existe nenhuma prioridade 
temática). Os critérios de seleção são: projeto científico, qualidade do 
laboratório que acolherá o pesquiados, formação, experiência e publicações 
do candidato, possibilidade de sucesso do projeto,impacto, etc.

O deadline para envio de candidaturas é dia 19 de agosto de 2008 - 17h00 de 
Bruxelas. Os resultados serão anunciados em dezembro de 2008.

2. AKARI DATA ARCHIVE OPENED TO THE COMMUNITY
   (comunicado por Elysandra Figueiredo)

The AKARI data archive for the pointed observations has been partially
opened for general community use. The data being made
available at this time are those taken in the Large Area Surveys (LS) and
Mission Programmes (MP) which were archived before March 2007 for internal
use, and all Director's Time (DT) and Calibration observations including any
data taken in the Performance Verification (PV) phase.
These data packages encrypted by GPG code will now be replaced with simple
tar+gz files. More data will subsequently enter into the public domain when
the one year propriatory period has expired. The Open Time
(OT) observation data will be available one year after the date at which
Phase 2 ended (i.e. when the last data were entered into the archive).

We are currently working towards a further update of the data reduction
software and corresponding Data User Manuals. All data packages will be
reprocessed with the latest software with a target release date in April.
